Windows 10 Available July 29th – Reserve Your Free Upgrade Now!
Are you ready for Windows 10?
Microsoft finally announced today that Windows 10 will be released on July 29th, 2015. Users with qualified Windows devices will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free until the offer ends on July 29th, 2016.
Users with eligible computers running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 may have already noticed a tiny Windows icon (for the Get Windows 10 app) in their taskbar.
Sidenote: The Get Windows 10 app will not prompt users with PCs that cannot run Windows 10. If you don’t see the Get Windows 10 app icon it’s likely due to: a) your device not running an up-to-date version of Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update; b) Windows Update is turned off or not set to update automatically; c) the necessary update is not installed on your machine; or d) you’re not running a genuine copy of Windows.
